Introducing Audrey Beharie-McGee who is the President of B.R.E. Productions International, Inc and Photography By McGee. British born, Audrey arrived in Atlanta GA in 2009 and, very soon after, met her husband, renowned illustrator, concept artist and storyboard artist Brian McGee. They launched Photography By McGee in 2012 where Brian was the principal photographer and Audrey worked as his assistant photographer on all of his sessions. However, due to Brian's increasingly demanding film and TV work, it was decided that, with Audrey's love and passion for being behind the camera, the business would be officially handed in 2015 where she enjoys now provides creating professional headshot and portrait services to individuals in the acting, fashion, music, portrait and music industry. As a background, Audrey has been involved in the music, entertainment and associated industry for nearly 40 years and has worked for some prestigious and well known music industry orientated contact so has a vast experience in the world of music, fashion, beauty and entertainment. Audrey was trained at the prestigious finishing school "The London Academy of Modeling" in London, England by the renowned modeling coach, writer and body language expert, Judi James, who has trained some of the biggest names in the industry including the amazing international British supermodel, Naomi Campbell amongst others. |
Audrey also is a former "Miss Afro West Indies" title holder, a fashion model, singer, songwriter, producer and emerging mixed media artist, and has been signed to two major recording and publishing deals in the UK with Sir Peter Waterman, the owner of PWL Records and All Boys Music, as a singer/songwriter and then signed a major recording contract with Polydor Records. Whilst signed at Polydor, Audrey also worked for MCA Records in London with the stellar and reputable major acts signed to the label in their London office as a Promotions Coordinator creating promotional tours, campaigns, liaising with key contacts at radio across the UK, and being a perfect Ambassador for MCA and the roster of artists. The experience and wealth of wisdom Audrey acquired over the many years of working diligently in the business would allow her to be able to “marry” and see the workings of all facets and mechanics of both sides of the industry – as an artist signed to a label as well as the being an integral team member of a record label itself . With the skills, experience and insight gained from her opportunities, and concentrated on applying these talents, Audrey formed her own label - Raja Records and released "Amazin/Stay" in 1988. And, in 1995, Audrey formed Vocal Zones, B.R.E. Productions and Hourglass Studios was born in 1995, in London, UK in order to help and support up and coming artists across the UK. Over the past 28 years, also staged in excess of 80 high caliber events in the UK and the US which she felt was necessary to allow the growth of confidence and hone and perfect their personal and performing arts skills. Audrey is also an emerging mixed media art abstract artist who integrates her photography into her artwork to create her collection entitled "SOULISM" and has exhibited her photographic/abstract work as follows:- Audrey has had the honor and privilege to exhibit her work as a featured artist at the following shows:-
